Adapted Bicycle

Adapted Bicycle

Adapted bicycles provide greater comfort and safety for people with mobility limitations.

In an inclusive manner and with an easy level of difficulty, the route from points 05 to 14 is recommended for adapted bicycles due to the area’s low altitude, gentle slopes, and proximity of the points. Please note that some paths are dirt tracks or covered with bagacina (black or reddish volcanic gravel).

Points 01 to 04, 16, and 17 may also be accessed, but they involve moderate difficulty due to steeper slopes. Important: Avoid using the Estrada Regional (Regional Road) whenever possible and seek alternative routes.Access to points 15, 19, 20, and 21 is not recommended due to distance and difficult accessibility.

Usage Rules:

  • Helmet use is mandatory (a helmet is provided with the bicycle).
  • The bicycle must be returned to the same location where it was picked up. If you wish to return it somewhere else, please make arrangements at the time of pick-up.

Best Practices for Responsible Bicycle Use:

  • Always wear a helmet.
  • Ride cautiously and respect all road users.
  • Choose paved or even-surfaced paths when possible.
  • Do not enter private property or restricted roads.
  • Remember to always give way to pedestrians.
  • Avoid using mobile phones while riding.
  • Park responsibly, ensuring you do not block pathways or sidewalks.
